On Packing Light

Leo Babauta from Zen Habits sent me the following when I asked him about packing light:

Packing light is a life philosophy. It means I care about carrying only the essentials, and not letting fear force me to carry more. It means I am free. It makes traveling easier, faster, smoother, and as a result travel is so much more enjoyable. I live lightly because I’m not weighed down.
